Abbe Molina and his poem "Sobre los ríos de Chile"

After identifying some elements of Abbe Molina’s personality and his scientiic texts, as a naturalist, this article will refer to some of his conserved poetic texts and will focus on an analysis of the poem De luviis chilensiibus. It will also study the poem De peste variolarum, which recalls an imaginary trip through the rivers of Chile. Finally, the author will include a Spanish translation of the poem De luviis chilensibus.
