Reparar los daños ocasionados por el diseño digital utilizando un enfoque informado por el trauma

Resumen
Con mayor conciencia y reflexividad en la toma de decisiones, las personas que diseñan entornos digitales pueden reparar el daño causado por el diseño digital y mejorar la experiencia de quienes han sufrido marginación en línea. Este acto de reparación del daño ocasionado por malas decisiones de diseño —ya sea tomadas con buenas intenciones o por ignorancia—, es necesario en un mundo donde la tecnología, la exclusión y el trauma son omnipresentes. Este artículo ofrece ejemplos de daños digitales que diseñadoras y diseñadores deben reconocer, comprender y evitar reproducir. Se explica el concepto de diseño informado por el trauma y se presentan dos enfoques prácticos que las personas que diseñan pueden utilizar para informarse de mejor manera sobre el trauma y reparar el daño que ocasionan al crear sitios web, aplicaciones y otras experiencias digitales.
